What I do
Roller skating lessons

Hi, I’m Laurie. I’ve spent my life on wheels, and roller skating has always been more than just a hobby—it’s where I found my community. I founded LBM Skates because I wanted to turn my years of experience into a legacy, passing the joy of skating down from one generation to the next. To me, skating isn’t just a skill; it’s a powerful way to build confidence, spark connections, and bring people together.” At the moment I conduct lessons within Brighton and Hove,Worthing, lancing,Peacehaven,NewHaven.

FAQs
Do I need head and knee and elbow protection
I would highly recommend wearing elbow and knee protection when your first starting as falling over is part of learning.
Where do I conduct the lessons
“I hold my lessons at suitable outdoor spots across Brighton. I specifically choose locations with smooth tarmac to ensure a safe and steady surface for learning.” Also it depends on the customers location.

It usually takes about one to three weeks to see results, but everyone is different. The more effort you put in, the faster you’ll reach your goal.

Ideally, yes. However, if you haven’t purchased them yet, I can provide expert recommendations on the best boots for your foot shape and skill level. I can also point you toward the best local shops in Brighton to ensure you get a quality pair.
Do you teach children?
Yes. I am DBS checked and offer lessons for both children and adults. I make sure the environment is safe and the teaching style is appropriate for the student’s age.
